About The Association
There are approximately 655 properties in the Sierra Springs Owners
Sierra Springs Owners Association is privately owned and was established in 1969.
For your information the following is a helpful guide.
Dues: Dues are billed quarterly on all lots in Sierra Springs on
the first of January, April, July, and October and are due within 30 days of those dates
regardless of receiving a bill. The following lists the amounts due per quarter.
Recreation Areas: Included in the association are 5 beautiful acres suitable
hiking and outdoor activities.
There are two swimming pools, each with restrooms and showers; they are located
adjacent to the Lodge and on Wisteria Drive. During summer months pool monitors are
assigned, but does not include life guard service. Barbeque and picnic tables are
available as well as free use of phones for local calls. There is a children's playground
available at the Wisteria pool. 41 acres of valley recreation areas near the lodge include
a double tennis court, pool, lodge, restrooms and showers, kitchen, barbeques, etc.
Greenbelts: There are 4 and 7 acres of forest inside Lupin Lane and north
of Sierra Springs Drive and Buttercup to provide open natural space. A 5 acre campground with
9 sites (water hook up only) is available to members & guests. The greenbelts are accessible to members.
Lodge facilities: The Lodge has a Ping Pong table,
Pool table, a lending library, big screen TV and rooms for parties and club meetings. Full kitchen facilities
are available and a small fee is collected when the premises are reserved for private use.
Architecture and CC&R Committees
Architecture and CC&R Committees are in place to ensure CC&R's are adhered to, protecting
ID Cards: ID Cards are used to access the lodge and pool areas.
A fee of $25 is charged for replacing lost cards.
- $165.00 for lots on Association maintained roads.
- $145.00 for lots on County maintained roads (Units 1-4 ).
- $35.00 for lots outside development with ingress/egress road usage.
Road Maintenance: On Association maintained roads: Tree trimming and weed
removal along roads throughout the year. Sanding of roads during icy periods to prevent skidding.
Repair of roads when necessary. Immediate removal of snow (we are top priority with the
Road funds are included in the dues and charged to all homeowners for use of the common road to the Lodge and an additional
road fund is included in the dues charged to homeowners on SSOA maintained roads, as well as properties which have ingress,
egress permits through our roads.
Annual Meetings: Member Election meetings are held in June of each year.
SSOA Newsletter Newsletters are mailed as needed.
Activities, such as parties, mixers and BBQ's are announced in the newsletters
and on the events page, volunteers are always welcome.
